Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2022-07-23T01:52Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
Activity ID: 2022-07-23T01:52:00-IPS-001 (version 1)
Quality of ICME Signature: 1 (lacks some signatures)
Note: Characterized by a magnetic field intensity increase to about 13 nT after a Stereo A data outage with some magnetic field component rotations evident, most notably in the southward component. Occurring precedent to the interplanetary shock was an increase in low energy protons and electrons for much of 2022-07-22. No Stereo A PLASTIC data was available at the time of the IPS onset.
